Groceries in Skagway

Lastly, for those do-it-yourselfers, the Fairway Market on State and You Say Tomato Health foods on State and 20th have groceries if you plan on taking food on a hike or on the three hour train ride. (White Pass Depot sells box lunches (actually in a bag) for $15, which are complete, but you pay for the convenience. ) On Third next to Glacial Smoothies is a great little bakery, Lemon Rose, with quick cookies, sweet rolls and fresh bread. Across the street from the Depot, the Excelsior cafe has lavendar cookies and premade sandwiches as well as Starbucks-brand coffee to go.
